STEAL HER STYLE...
WITH IRENE NEUWIRTH
Jewellery designer Irene Neuwirth picks her favourite pieces from the KOIBIRD collection, and shows us how she’d style them.
In case you missed it, KOIBIRD has recently launched its first ever fine jewellery trunk show. An edit of our most-loved pieces by four award-winning designers, the collection is a curation of colour and imagination. One of the designers, Irene Neuwirth, is a host of both. Known for whimsical designs inspired by art and nature, as well as her kaleidoscopic use of colour, you can bet her wardrobe is as eclectic and fun-fuelled as her jewellery. Chatting to Belma on The Belma Show!, she divulges her love of vintage, which in her hometown, LA, we know there to be a plethora of. Here she selects 5 outfits from the KOIBIRD collection for 5 occasions in her diary, and styles them as she would with her own jewellery.
Over to you, Irene...
01 “I would wear this for a lunch with Phil and the dogs. We’ve been having picnics from Gjusta in Venice and it’s heavenly. I love the sweetness of the Pink Opal mixed with Turquoise in these pieces from my Botanical Collection.”
03 “I’m wishing friends a happy birthday via a group Zoom party, but dressing for the occasion with Magda Butrym’s vibrant zebra dress. We have dinner from one of our favourite Italian restaurants, Jon & Vinny’s, a comforting treat during hard times! To really make it a celebration, I’ll add my Pearl Cluster Earrings tonight.”
04 “For a walk in Malibu with friends, this is what I’d go for – something cosy, comfortable but still bright and stylish. We’ve been taking epic walks on the beach to be outside and stay connected. I may bring a Casa Dragones to sip on if it’s a special occasion, and pair with my multicoloured Tropical Flowers to blend in with the scenery.”
