The runways of February’s Fashion Weeks were filled to the brim with block-hued looks experimenting with both colour and silhouette. And here at KOIBIRD, it caught our attention - what could possibly be better for spring?!

At Balenciaga there were skin-tight evening dresses in royal and baby blue hues and Chloé had a low-key knit skirt and tank styled with a same-hued marigold coat. Pierpaolo Piccoli, creative director of Valentino, created a new tone of pink - Pink PP (a mixture of fuchsia pink and black) - in collaboration with Pantone Colour Institute, and showed 48 pink head-to-toe looks and 33 black on an entirely bespoke Pink PP stage. According to the press notes, the ability to explore a single colour for his collection was ‘freedom’.
