KOIBIRD has gained a reputation for discovering new designers from across the world and showcasing unique pieces that you won’t get in your average luxury boutique. Simply put, having something that few other people have is in our DNA. It seemed natural, then, to take these established values into a new space: the vintage resale market.

Over the past year, Belma – who has long held a deep love for vintage clothing – has sourced over 150 pieces from a variety of sources. Each and every item has been carefully selected and curated from a breadth of designers and eras. Jean-Paul Gaultier’s iconic sheer flamingo tops and dresses, 90s CÉLINE shorts complete with chains, Fendi baguettes, and even more pieces from the likes of Comme des Garçons, Moschino and Chanel make up just some of the collection. Finding items that truly embody the KOIBIRD spirit – Never Boring – has been a labour of love, and we’ve adored every second of it.

The designer vintage collection, which will launch May 4th, will live permanently in our Marylebone store, as well as on-site, with a new page of the website being redesigned in new formats and colourways to house this unique content.

KOIBIRD will also hold its first-ever live shopping event, co-hosted by fashion journalist and vintage connoisseur Dino Bonačić, and an in-store dinner to mark the occasion.

A few words from Belma… Vintage has been on KOIBIRD’s horizon for a while now, and putting together this selection has been a long – but highly enjoyable – process. I don’t really see vintage clothes as solely part of the resale market – these pieces are part of fashion history, and the collection has been curated with this in mind.

Ultimately, I hope our customer appreciates both the entrenched and the esoteric brands in the offering. We can’t wait for them to see it.
