Adriana Cavita, formerly of Mexico City’s Pujol, has recently opened her restaurant Cavita on Wigmore Street with a focus on the food of Oaxaca and the coastal region of Yucatán. We particularly love her raw bar (the ceviche is beyond delicious), but you’ll also discover more traditional dishes from sharing tacos to sea bream. 

If you’re not talking about the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, well, you should be. At KOIBIRD, we joined the other 10 million others who tuned in to watch the HBO show earlier this week. It’s safe to say we’re hooked already. However, even more impressive than the plot is arguably the fantastical costumes created by Jany Temime (known for her work on the Harry Potter franchise). Working colour theory into her garments, she distorts silhouettes and draws inspiration from a range of subjects from mediaeval armour to contemporary Moroccan bridalwear.

The late Karl Lagerfeld's beloved blue-cream tortie Birman Choupette celebrated her birthday last week in a private jet filled with champagne and balloons. The former creative director of Chanel and Fendi reportedly left a part of his fortune to his famous puss, so that she may live in fashionable style forever. The jealousy is real.
